FootNotes reports that Ankur Bangla 1.0 has been officially released: "The Ankur Bangla Project is proud to release version 1.0 final of the Ankur Bangla Live CD, running GNOME 2.4 localized into the Bangla (Bengali). The Live CD is based on Morphix and runs off the CD drive itself with little invasiveness to the existing setup. It is designed to be primarily a tool for collecting end user feedback on usability (especially of the translations of the GUI messages)."
