01/09/08 PCTech101 takes the privacy and security of our customers information seriously. We have recently added ScanAlert.com's HackerSafe security daily scan service to our site. In additon we have received our Certificate of Compliance for meeting the standards set forth by the PCI Security Standards Council.
10/09/07 We have a wide variety of new training videos as well as the latest release of openSUSE and Mandriva.
06/16/07 We have released a complete 32-Bit CD set of Fedora 7 for those that do not have a DVD drive or have limited access to the internet.
06/12/07 The Credit Checkout page was redesigned by our credit card merchant Authorize.net. You now have to type letters from an image at the bottom of the page to complete the checkout. We really don't like its implementation - they say it's an added security measure.
06/01/07 Fedora 7 has been released and we are giving away Fedora to a randomly selected customers that purchase Fedora 7 this month.
04/05/07 PCTech101 is undergoing a makeover that should make navigating the website much easier. We are preparing to offer a wide variety of new products to our site as well as more valuable ebook and training resources to our customers.
02/15/07 We have added 15 new ebooks to the library and redesigned the page. The site functionality has been updated to provide a more user friendly experience.

to introduce a new CD and DVD download service on our
site. We realize that our site may not always be up
to date with the latest Linux Distributions on a given
day. This new service gives visitors the opportunity
to specify the location of a CD or DVD image for us
to immediately download and burn for them. The service
is not limited to Linux CD and DVD images and may also
be used for any other publicly available download on

07/15/06 PCTech101.com is proud to announce our participation in the Fedora Free Media Porgam. This program provides the latest Fedora Core OS to those who can not afford to purchase or download the operating system. Customers of ours who purchase Fedora Core have the opportunity to donate as little as $5.00 to the program. As donations come in PCTech101 will select a person who has requested a Free Fedora DVD or CD and send it out to them on their behalf.
